A pear is considered a nutritious enough fruit to consume a few times a month as part of a healthy diet and also excess body fat reduction. 

While pear is normally harvested in Autumn when it reaches its peak, it can also be found in supermarkets year-round due to industrial farming practices.

 

Pear fruit can be beneficial in a sensible weight reduction plan for the following reasons:

  1. Low in Calories: relatively low in calories, pear makes a good choice for pre-breakfast fruit consumption. A medium-sized pear typically contains around 100 calories, which can help a person feel full without consuming excessive calories.
